The Heinz brand identity and visual style were analyzed to ensure the ad remained true to its iconic look. AI tools and techniques for photorealistic generation were also explored, experimenting with new ways to tell a story through emerging technology.
The concept reimagined Heinz Ketchup through the lens of a miniature crime scene, with ketchup as the “culprit.” I developed a playful narrative with forensic-style details… tiny evidence markers, spilled ketchup fingerprints, and dramatic lighting, to bring the scene to life.
The design focused on blending photorealistic textures with whimsical storytelling. Every visual element, from the miniature props to the lighting, was carefully crafted to maintain a cinematic, tongue-in-cheek aesthetic while showcasing the richness of the Heinz brand.
The project was executed end-to-end, covering prompt engineering, AI visual generation, compositing, and final editing. The outcome was a polished, AI-driven spec ad showcasing both creative innovation and the potential of AI in brand storytelling.
